Mission/Vision

Established in March 2019, Bootsma Bakery is a European inspired bakery with Dutch Roots. We are dedicated to nourishing our community with delicious baked goods made from traditional scratch recipes.

Meet the Family

We are a young family with a passion for baking and serving our community. We pour our heart and soul into everything we do!

Steve is a fourth generation baker. His grandfather Rudy Bootsma, learned in Holland, and moved his family to Canada. You can find a couple bakeries he started in Vancouver and Calgary.

Steve grew up baking with his Dad in Rocky Mountain House, AB.

Kendra makes the haystacks to so she can take horseback riding lessons.
